The house had been listed previously without any staging and sat on the market for six months. After the restaging, traffic of potential buyers picked up and by the end of the month, the house was sold for the asking price.

Choose a real estate agent who has the tenacity to make any contact, and learn all that is evolving in the market place. If my agent had not been vigilant, I might still own the unit.

If the seller can afford major repairs, then they should complete them; it can only enhance the value of the home. The average buyer is not looking to sink a ton of money into a home right off the bat.
